Treasurer report –
West Entrance sign update – We have an approved sign but due to the inability of the company creating the sign to guarantee the quality of their work the project is on hold. It was discovered that some of the signs that are 5 years old in the area are showing rust through the stucco. The plan is for the signs to last at least 20 years so we are now in search of another contractor to complete the work. As a side not, If anyone knows someone they would like to refer please contact Mimi Kuchman.
Architectural Committee –
Nothing new to report.
Landscape and Maintenance report –
As previously posted, The Planter boxes will be re landscaped starting in May. If you are interested in seeing what modifications will be made, reach out to any member of the HOA board.
The HOA board is currently planning a work day around training Virginia creepers and raking the wood chips along Platte Canyon. Please reach out to Jim Roller or Cory Siegel if you are interested in donating your time.
All the light bulbs will be replaced before the end of spring.
New Business –
The HOA is still researching what can be done about increasing patrols in the Village to help with rush hour traffic cutting through our neighborhood. More to come..
The board wants and encourages participation in all of the HOA meetings, with that said, the next two HOA meeting is tentatively scheduled for July 27th and October 19th. In the past communication of the HOA board meetings dates have not been timely. The hope is that with plenty of notice, more people will show up.
As a reminder, with spring in the air, keep an eye out for pink flamingos around the neighborhood. For those not familiar, a pink Flaming in the yard means “come on over” for a neighborhood get together. Sometimes if the board is informed of the get together, we will blast out an email to make sure everyone is aware.
