- Financial Report – Mimi Kuchman
- $1,086 paid to the attorney for the covenant revision
- Allocate ~$500 for front entrance decorations
- Design Review Report – Jeff Brooks
- Open board position has not been filled. Continue to work on greater community participation
- 6 Village Court – Inspection issue identified – trim was painted along with the door, but that was not approved. Prepare letter to send to homeowner.
- Two trees were removed without board review. Both trees posed a hazard to homes and the community. Letter will be sent to homeowners reminding them to seek approval before making changes to street facing landscaping.
- Landscaping / Maintenance Report – Willi Taylor
- It has been determined that the pocket park is the responsibility of The Nevada Ditch Company. The HOA will cease maintenance effective today and make formal requests to the Town of CV to step in and enforce maintenance from the owner.
- The board is responding to several concerns about dead/dying trees along the ditch. Homeowners will be notified of their responsibility to maintain.
- West entrance is planted and looking good. Will work with vendor to plant earlier next spring and add bulbs in the fall.
- The grass along Platte Canyon has been mowed.
- East entrance is planted and sprinkler issues have been repaired.
- Covenant Updates – Hailey Thiel
- Work continues with the attorney to bring our current covenants up to date and have a final draft to present by the end of July.
- Upcoming Events
- Summer BBQ – 8/24 @ 4 PM – Columbine Lane cul-de-sac. Neighbors will be invited to contribute side dishes and discussion about a grill-off/bake-off. Water balloons will be provided instead of a bouncy house. Working on a live music entertainer for the event.
- Covenant Town Hall – TBD. Announce date at the BBQ
- Holiday Party – 12/13/19, Location TBD
- Next Board Meeting – 9/15 @ 6:30 PM, Location TBD
- Community
- Wall Committee – Jeff Brooks to meet with Morgan, Kat, Tobin to discuss needs and next steps.
- Volunteers are needed to fill board positions as well as committee positions. There has been very little community involvement on the HOA. Board will outline responsibilities and time commitments for the positions that need to be filled and these will be posted on the website.
- Consider creating a Jr. HOA committee to join the HOA to provide support to neighbors throughout the community.
- Other Business
- Title search on West entrance is outstanding. Hailey to initiate.
- Damaged stop sign by the Sykes house needs to be replaced. Mimi will contact the Town to request repairs.
- New neighbors @ 17 Village Drive. Board plans to welcome with a basket on Sunday, 7/14
