Jim Roller called the meeting to order. All Board Members were present, and 7 community members were welcomed.
Last meeting minutes were approved.
Jim Howard reported that the finances are healthy and presented current balance sheet. Click here to see the reports
Architectural committee: Jeff Brooks announced that all changes going on in many houses right now, all have been approved.
Website is current and will continue to be.
Landscape and Maintenance committee-Corey Siegel reported that all weeds have been sprayed. On the outer wall, flowers have been planted. He presented bills to the Treasurer. There will be an additional spraying of weeds in all the street cracks, it is included in the budget.
Old Business: Board members job descriptions will be updated referencing previously defined descriptions in current governing documents.
Town hall has updated lighting and a new video surveillance cameras system that does include night vision recording.
Summer party was discussed with kudos going to Corey, who provided much of the food. and was the Chef of the Night. A request for veggie burgers will be honored next year. Inventory and purchasing records were kept for reference.
Garage Sale will be continued, fewer participants this years, but cost is low, so will continue. We will attempt to coordinate with Burning Tree as we have in the past.
New Business:
Residents of 8 Village Court, presented a petition signed by about 14 households to change covenants allowing her request to have less than 5 chickens as pets in her yard.
After discussions including the reading of the ordinance of Columbine Valley, the ordinance of Littleton, Colorado the issue was put to bed, as 3 covenants would have to be changed.
